Give it a try!
- Enter a search term in the search field to the right. Next, click on a file to view. It will automatically perform that search on the newly loaded file.
- Searches can also be performed on an adhoc basis from the toolbar for the currently viewed file.
Microsoft Word
- This is a rendering of a Microsoft Word docx file. QVP Web delivers the same viewing fidelity of QVP 2017 desktop without any client-side program.
- You can see in the left pane a thumbnail view of the pages in the file.
- If a file contains application metadata it can also be displayed.
- You can perform searches, zoom in/out, or change how the file fits to the display window.
Microsoft Word with Markup
- This is an example of the Word sample file in a markup mode.
- The content to be redacted is highlighted in dark gray, but still readable to the editor.
- Annotations highlight various sections and can contain comments as well.
- When markup during review is complete, it can be converted to a PDF or TIFF with the markup information burned into the file.
Microsoft Word in Final Form
- Here is the Word file in its PDF rendered final form.
- Notice how the redaction markups created by selecting text have now been completely redacted and are not searchable.
- Notes that were entered on annotations are included as reference notes on a separate page.
E-mail MSG
- In the automated search box to the right, try entering the term "Enron", then click on the E-mail MSG button again to reload this file when the programmatic search is enabled.
- Notice how the relevant terms are highlighted when the file loads.
- Now, click on the link for the attachment. Notice how the search term is carried forward and performed on the message attachment as well.
E-mail MSG with Markup
- This is the MSG mail file in a markup editing mode. You can see the sections of annotated text as well as those that are selected to be redacted.
- Try clicking in the search field on the toolbar and search on the term "foundation". Notice how the search term gets a hit for both occurrences.
- When you select the "Final Form" button you will see the burned-in version of this file in PDF format. Try performing the search on "foundation" as you did above, notice in that file the word "foundation" does not come up in the search for any redacted content.
E-mail MSG in Final Form
- This is the burned-in non-editable PDF version of the E-mail MSG Markup sample file.
- If you ran the search on "foundation" in the markup version of the file try it again here. Notice how the redacted text no longer yields any search hits.
- Any notes entered for annotations show with a reference number on the subsequent page.
Excel
- Excel spreadsheets display in a print view, including graphs and charts.
- You can choose to have them display with hidden cells visible or remain hidden.
PowerPoint
- PowerPoint slides can be displayed along with any Speaker Notes or Comments they may be in the presentation.
- You can enable or disable the viewing of the Speaker Notes and Comments panes as desired.
PDF
- This is a sample file of a standard PDF file. It includes a header image as well as several different formatting options.
DWG
- Quick View Plus Web can render many different file types. Such as this AutoCAD DWG formatted drawing.
- You can adjust the scale by using the Zoom in/out buttons, or from various fit to window options on the toolbar.
